Houston Chronicle, Texas NEW 4 Hour CHL Classes. My Pistol Class is offering the NEW 4 Hour CHL. Every Sunday we offer the Learn to Shoot in the Morning (8:00am - 10:00am) @ 10:00am we start the CHL. This means that you will learn to shoot and the CHL laws of Texas. If you are already proficient, register for the CHL Class, it starts at 10:00am. This combo is nice when considering mixed proficiency in a family. If someone needs help and others are educated, everyone will eventually end up in the same class. We offer several packages: $60.00 CHL seat only $120.00 CHL seat, gun rental, ammo (50 rounds), range fee. $190.00 1st Steps (Learn to Shoot) & Texas CHL: This includes everything, seat, gun rental, ammo (100 rounds) range fees. This class is great if you have never used a gun and do not own one. You will just need to show up and we take care of the rest. $120.00 1st Steps (Learn to Shoot) & Texas CHL: This includes the seat only. You will be responsible for supplying gun (at least .32 cal), ammo (100 rounds), range fees. Note: All 1st Steps Classes (either package) will all start out with a .22 cal semi-auto.
